Diwali is the 5 day long Hindu festival of lights, celebrated in either October or November, based on the lunar calendar year. This year, Diwali falls on November 1, 2024. It is typically associated with Lakshmi Devi, the goddess of prosperity, and Lord Ganesh, the god of new beginnings. Diwali marks the beginning of the new year for Indians.
